APART FR0M MANY CLUB C0NCERTS, THEY PLAYED AT NUMER0US INTERNATI0NAL FESTIVALS, INCLUDING CTM/BERLIN, HOUSE/SHAPE/PRAHA, PRIMAVERA SOUND/BARCEL0NA. KRYSTYNA LAMA SZYDŁOWSKA, choreographer

NO MORE TEARS (premiere: 16-17 Feb '18)

Performer/choreographer/dancer/animator of culture/dance pedagogist, graduate of WSUS in Poznań (composition and dance techniques), scholarship holder of the Alternative Dance Academy 2015 Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, student at the Academy of Music in Łódź (major: choreography). She works on the borderline of disciplines, mainly in cooperation with Dawid Dąbrowski. Along with Zofia Tomczyk, she established the KINESTREFA Foundation to create in partnership and share their knowledge. In terms of private and professional life, she has always been connected with Poznań, where she creates a community centered around dance and performing arts. She seeks infinity in motion, but above all honest stage presence. She loves sugar.

He composed music for performances directed by Iwo Vedral: “Słodka Fibi/Sweet Fibi” (Teatr Niekonsekwentny in Szczecin), “Śmierć Pracownika/Death of an Employee”, “Ścielę wieczne łoże” (Teatr Polski in Poznan), “Śmierć Komiwojażera/Death of a Salesman” (Teatr im. Węgierki in Białystok) and “Wieczny Kwiecień/Eternal April” directed by Agnieszka Korytkowska-Mazur (Teatr Polski in Poznan), “Opowieści z niepamięci” directed by Duda Paiva (Teatr Animacji in Poznan). A co-organizer of the Gadafest festival. Currently, he deals with creating audiovisual projects: “resmover”, “Foton Bombers”, “NIE/WIEM”, “Eternit”, “Random Mode”. The last project, "Granica/Border", was created in cooperation with foundations from Ukraine (Artpole, Platforma TIO). It was staged in Mariupol, Kiev and Poznań this year.

POLKA (premiere: 3 Feb '18)

Associated with the Academy of Music in Poznań and the Poznań University of Arts. In 1992-1999, he acted as the president of the Poznań branch of the Polish Composers' Union and the Director of the “Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna” festival. A winner of nine prizes in composer competitions and the special prize of the Festival of Feature and Television Films for Children and Youth in Poznań (1992) for the music to "The Little Prince” film directed by Waldemar Śmigasiewicz. Awarded with the Silver Cross of Merits 2014 and the "Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej" award (2015). The most important works from recent years include: "Altum silentium for violin and tape" (2007) or "Wyspiański's pageant for orchestra (2007)".

POLKA (premiere: 3 Feb '18)

Theater and advertising photographer, portraitist. He has been photographing body expression, moving bodies and dance for almost thirty years. Among the theaters he collaborated with, one can mention the Polish Dance Theater, Teatr Wielki of Stanisław Moniuszko, Teatr Nowy and Teatr Polski in Poznań. He is the author of theater scenography to the following performances: “Trop. Dance as art”, “Saligia”, “7 grzechów miejskich/7 city sins”, “ReMIX/Drzewiecki/Ostatnia niedziela/Last Sunday”, “Cyrkostrada” or “Upadłe anioły/Fallen Angels”, to name just a few. He worked as a photographer for the largest advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, McCannEricson, Lintas. His advertising photos were used in Nivea, Lidl, Hochland, North Fish, BZ WBK, Intermarche or Philips campaigns.

WSZYSCY JESTEŚMY BOGAMI (premiere:12 Sep '18)

 

Actor, director, musician, pedagogist. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw. A co-founder of the first social therapy center in Poland for addicted teenagers in Warsaw. In 1974-76, he worked closely with Jerzy Grotowski’s Teatr Laboratorium. A co-founder of the “Gardzienice” Theater Practices Center and its member in 1977-2003. A co-founder of the CHOREA Theater Association and its leader since 2004. An artistic director of Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź since 2007. He cooperates with the Polish Dance Theater in creating a performance on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Theater.

Composer, arranger, musician, vocalist/singer. A composer of music for several dozen theatrical performances, concerts, films and other artistic projects. He plays percussion and keyboard instruments. For 14 years, he has been the musical director of the CHOREA Theater in Łódź, as well as the Choir of the CHOREA Theater (since 2011). A co-founder of the male choir carrying out music and performative ventures, including "Songs for the City" project. A leader and co-host of many theater and music workshops for actors, dancers and musicians, amateurs, children and young people. In his work he is inspired by music and rhythm from ancient Greece, the Balkans, music of the Middle East, North Africa and India

A graduate of the Drama Department of the PWST in Krakow. He debuted with the"Puzzle” play by Szymon Wróblewski at the Stary Teatr in Krakow. Among others, he completed: „Amok, moja dziecinada/Amok” by Thomas Freyer in Teatr Nowy in Krakow, “Podróż poślubną/Honeymoon” by Władimir Sorokin in Teatr im. Norwida in Jelenia Góra, „Solness” by Henry Ibsen in Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk, „Śmierć komiwojażera/Death of a Salesman” by Arthur Miller in Teatr Dramatyczny in Białystok. For the "Ulica/Street” play inspired by the novel by Daniel Odiji in Teatr Nowy in Słupsk, he was awarded the Special Award of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship (2016). He is a double scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Director, stage designer and screenwriter, one of the founders of the independent Usta Usta theater in Poznan. He directed performances in: Teatr Polski in Wrocław, Teatr Polski in Bydgoszcz, Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw and Teatr Stary in Krakow. The winner of the award at the Nationwide Competition for the Display of Polish Contemporary Performance for the staging concept of the "III Furie” play at Teatr im. Modrzejewskiej in Legnica, Golden Mask for the best presentation of the 2012/13 season for the performance of “Antigone” with Teatr Nowy in Łódź, the Main Prize for the performance and the award for directing the “Na Boga!” play during the 13th Contemporary Drama Festival "Reality presented".

WEDDING.AFTERPARTY (premiere: 13-14 Oct '17)

An award-winning Polish theater set designer and light director. Since his debut in 2001, he has created set designs, costumes and multimedia settings for about 100 performances. He carried out theater projects, including those made with Jan Klata, Maja Kleczewska, Barbara Wysocka, Wiktor Rubin, Jarosław Tumidajski, Krystyna Meissner and Piotr Kruszczyński. His works have been shown at many exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Szczecin, Wrocław, Bonn, Stuttgart and Berlin. In 2007, he was the author of the Polish pavilion’s project during the 11th Prague Quadrienniale of Scenography and Theater Architecture. In 2012, he was nominated for Polityka's Passports in the field of "Theater".

The author of essays and short stories published, among others, in the “Odra” magazine. A co-author and playwright of the following plays: "Elvis" (Teatr Nowy in Poznań) and "Hollywood" (Teatr WARSawy) in Warsaw) directed by Michał Siegoczyński and the author and playwright of the "Kalina" monodram (Teatr Nowy Poznań) directed by Agata Biziuk.

A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, and the Secondary Ballet School of Roman Turczynowicz in Warsaw.  Before she started working at the Polish Dance Theater, she had worked at Opera na Zamku in Szczecin and at the Grand Theater in Poznań. She collaborated with people such as Janis Claxton, Thomas Small, and Victoria Fox. She participated in a co-production with the German collective Bodytalk, co-creating the “Jewrope” performance.  She participated in the “Skutki niezamierzone/Unintended Effects” choreographic project by Sjoerd Vreugdenhil.

He started his dance career with the MAK team in Zabrze. As a choreographer he took part in the inauguration of the "Modny Śląsk" program in the field of Culture. He was associated with the Kielce Dance Theater, for which he made the performance entitled “znieWOLeNI”. In 2016, he made a solo performance entitled “Syptoma”. Awarded during the 8th Dance Festival "Solo Dance Contest"; he reached the final of the International Competition 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... DANCE! He participated in prestigious festivals around the world, including  The World Opera Festival Masada in Israel and The First Silk Road International Arts Festival in China.

A graduate of the contemporary dance department at the Codarts University of Arts in Rotterdam. A student of the Warsaw Ballet School and the choreography and dance theory department at the University of Music in Warsaw. In the 2015/2016 season, she acted as an artistic director of the Teatr Tańca Caro. The author of "eXordial", "Sailor" and "Mrowisko/Anthill” performances.

A graduate of the Secondary Ballet School of Felix Parnell in Lodz. Currently, he is studying ballet pedagogy at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2012-2014, he was associated with the Kielce Dance Theater, where he participated in the premiere of "The Rite of Spring" with the choreography by Angelin Preljocaj, and appeared in "Traviata" during The Masada Opera Festival in Israel. He joined the Polish Dance Theater team in 2014. He constantly improves his skills by taking part in numerous workshops in Poland and abroad, e.g. "Atomos Professional Lab".

A graduate of the Secondary Ballet School of Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak in Gdansk. The winner of the 3rd place in the 18th National Ballet Competition in the category of contemporary dance. He took part in the International Contemporary Dance Workshops, Coaching Project conducted by the Maria Kong Dancers Company team and in the gaga technique workshops run by Yoshifumi Inao from the Batsheva Dance Company.

A graduate of the Poznań Secondary Ballet School. She co-created choreography, dance, costumes and scenography for the "eXordial" performance. She appeared in the modern version of "The Nutcracker" in New York. She participated in the innovative "Lightskin" project, combining site-specific installations, performance, dance theater and electronic music concert. Visualizations with her participation could be seen at Audioriver, Kazantip 2012 festivals or "Czwórka na wizji” organized by the 4th Channel of the Polish Radio. In 2016, she collaborated with Jan Komasa and Mikołaj Mikołajczyk on the "Xenophony” project during the Malta Festival.
